Swindon Rockets Charity Football Tournament
Swindon Town Centre's Pubwatch are organising their very own charity football tournament in aid of Swindon Rockets.
Swindon Rockets are a children’s Powerchair Football Club, run by volunteers to help disabled children develop their social skills as well as giving them a sense of belonging and achievement. Their website has more information – www.swindonrockets.org.uk.
The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday 13th June in Faringdon Road Park with inSwindon entering their own team for the competition. The event will take place between 11.00am and 4.00pm with activities available for all the family including the Swindon Advertiser boucny castle and Alfie Aligator coming down to support the teams.
